ROUGHLEYS BIKE SHOW 2026 – EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

SUNDAY 30 AUGUST 2026 – STOCKPORT TOWN CENTRE

Roughleys Bike Show returns to Stockport on Sunday 30 August 2026, bringing motorcycles, cars, live music, competitions, trade stalls, food, entertainment and thousands of visitors to the town centre.

The event takes place at St Petersgate, Stockport, SK1 1HE, in Stockport town centre, and forms part of the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The show is described by its organisers as Stockport’s premier bike and car show and is also a major independent charity event.

The event runs throughout the afternoon and into the evening, with live bands continuing until late.

BIKE ENTRANTS

If you are entering a bike into the show, your motorcycle needs to be on site by 11:00am.

The main public event starts at 12:00 noon.

PRIZE GIVING

The main prize giving takes place at 4:00pm, with awards presented by Andrew Roughley.

CUSTOM AND SHOW BIKES

One of the main attractions is the large selection of motorcycles brought to the show from across the country.

Custom bikes and other impressive machines will be on display, with competitions and awards taking place during the day.

SHOW CARS

Roughleys isn’t just about motorcycles. The event also features a selection of top show cars, with competitions taking place during the day.

LIVE BANDS

There will be live bands throughout the day and into the evening, with the bands continuing until late.

TRADE STALLS

Visitors can browse a selection of trade stalls during the event, alongside the bikes, cars and other attractions.

Official Roughleys clothing and merchandise is available at the show, including items such as hoodies, patches and hats.

The organisers recommend visiting the merchandise area early because popular items can sell out.

FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

The event is designed to be family friendly during the daytime.

One of the more unusual features of Roughleys is the opportunity to Ask a Builder.

If you’re working on a motorcycle or car and aren’t sure how to finish a project, experienced bike enthusiasts attending the show are available to offer advice and suggestions.

THE HISTORY OF ROUGHLEYS BIKE SHOW

Roughleys Bike Show has been running since 1999, when Andy Roughley began the event while working at the Bulls Head pub during the August Bank Holiday.

What began as a gathering of friends and bikes has grown into a major Stockport event attracting thousands of people.

With bikes, cars, competitions, live music, food, a bar, trade stalls and family entertainment running from midday into the evening, Sunday 30 August 2026 promises to be another major day in Stockport’s biker calendar.
